Auchentoshan kommt von den Lowlands, außerhalb der Stadt Glasgow, und wird anders destilliert. Als einzige Brennerei in Schottland, verwendet Auchentoshan noch eine dritte Brennblase in der Produktion aller ihrer Whiskys, was sie einzigartig macht. Diese Dreifachdestillation erzeugt einen vielseitigen, weichen und leichten Single Malt Whisky.

This triple-distilled single malt is smooth and delicate enough to drink on its own or mix into a signature cocktail. Tempting aromas of toasted almonds and caramelized toffee make it an ideal addition to a Cobbler—an American-born sherry cocktail from the pre-prohibition era. Fill a highball glass with ice and pour in 35ml of Auchentoshan 12, 15ml of sherry, 10ml of crème de cassis, 15ml of lime juice and 10ml of honey syrup.
